Towards FAIR, ethical, and sustainable research data management for Open Science

BRIDGES and its partners are pleased to announce that applications are now open for the BRIDGES x DATA TERRA scool – Mayotte 2026. Following the first two sessions in 2025, the first in Réunion and the second in the Comoros, we are opening a third date in Mayotte in 2026. These schools aim to provide a space for networking and the exchange of best practices in research data management. They are open to local data users and producers working in areas related to BRIDGES’ themes: biodiversity, environment, fisheries, humanities and social sciences, etc.
Concrete tools applied to the realities of the territory, case studies, and methods relating to the data life cycle will be at the heart of the 5-day school. Opportunities for interdisciplinary exchanges and discussions around the specific needs of each participant are planned throughout the week.

The content and objectives of the school will be identical to those in the Comoros, Réunion, and Mayotte. The school in Mayotte is open to residents of Mayotte.
